Flower Pot Island, ON, Canada – While scouting a location for a photoshoot we came across this serene view on the northern side of the island. This shot evokes a feeling of a quiet lonely place where one can be at peace. Captured with Canon 20D using a 17-40mm lens.
Massasauga Provincial Park, ON, Canada – After a day of portaging we settled in on a rocky outcrop. The paddles almost feel as if they glow as their shiny coats reflect the light of the nearby campfire. The image illustrates well the sense of isolation and solitude achieved through such remote excursions. Captured with a Canon 20D using a 17-40mm lens.
Oakville, ON, Canada – If the camera is the canvas and light is colour then fire is my favourite brush. Unlike man-made lights, fire is never the same, it’s always changing and never still. This match’s wavering flame paints motion onto an otherwise static frame in the shape of my first initial. Captured with a Canon 20D using a 17-40mm lens.
